Supramolecular Chemistry
Our research is based on supramolecular chemistry, chemistry beyond molecules.  Supramolecular chemistry focuses on weak intermolecular interactions (hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interaction, and van der Waals interaction, etc.) that play important roles in biological systems.  Our research goal is to develop new supramolecular assemblies with desired structures, properties and functions by using the principles of recognition and self-assembly that we learned from Mother Nature.
