We focus our effort on improving the resolution of liquid chromatographic separation and developing new methodologies for the characterization of polymers. Temperature Gradient Interaction Chromatography method developed by our group opened a new prospects in the molecular characterization of polymers and has solved a few long-standing puzzles in polymer science.
We also work on the self-assembly of block copolymers which is one of the promising materials for the
"bottom-up" approach in nano-patterning. Our expertise in chromatography fractionation is effectively utilized to reduce the polydispersity of block copolymers.
