Introduction
Experience refers to a direct observation or participation in a certain activity. There are many digital contents in the form of web based interaction or multimedia CD ROM titles, but they still fall short of providing the vivid and direct experience because of the indirect interaction through the mouse and keyboard based interfaces. We believe that in the coming knowledge based society, capturing and obtaining tacit experiential knowledge will play a big role in many aspects including education, training, communication and entertainment.
DXP is conducts research and development of experiential digital contents by employing multimodal sensing and display technologies.
DXP is led and operated by the faculty members at POSTECH CSE whose expertise and research interests are in digital media such as computer graphics, language understanding, virtual reality, multimodal interaction, sensing and recogntion.
