There are 20
dormitory buildings for male
students and three for female
students. There are 919 double-bed
rooms and 258 triple-bed rooms.
Every floor has a lounge and
a laundry-room. |

There are four
apartment buildings for 300
families. Each apartment unit
has a bedroom, a living room,
and a bathroom. The living room
includes kitchen facilities.
The heating and LPG systems
are connected into a centrally
regulated area. |

The POSTECH
Gym has various sports facilities.
Most of them is accessible free
of charge with your POSTECH
ID. For some facilities you
will have to pay a small fee
(racquetball courts, tennis
center courts). The Gym is open
6:00 to 21:30 (21:00 during
winter). The POSTECH Gym accommodating
5,000 has four racquetball courts,
a basketball and volleyball
court, table tennis room, and
a billiard room, together with
a fitness measurement room,
and a weight room. Free instruction
is provided year-round for every
body interested in table tennis
and the martial arts. |

The Jigok Community
Center is a modern two-story
building situated near a small
pond and the student dormitory
buildings. It provides students
with all sorts of facilities,
including dining rooms, a coffee
shop, and other conveniences
such as a post office, book
store, optical shop, etc. The
center is also open to the general
public. |

Up on the hill
behind the dormitory is located
the Log Cabin. Among all the
students living in the dormitories,
it is the favorite spot to relax
from the stress of studies.
The Log Cabin, the first and
only campus pub in the nation,
is one of many POSTECH attractions,
and also is known as a site
of campus culture. |
