(SEED)

The SEED(Self Electro-Optice Effect Device) technology is based on a quantum well(QW) electro-absorption mechanism, called the quantum confined Stark effect(QCSE). The SEED technology is a next-generation candidate for massively parallel interconnection and Tbit capacity switching applications. We have accumulated unique knowledges of a U.S.patented MOVPE grown SEED technique.

The SEED of SEED

This transmission type SEED was reported as the world first device, fabricated in 1991 by MOVPE-grown SQW(Shallow Quantum Well) structures.
