Applications open for the Continued Residency in Dormitories
This notice applies to those who resided in dormitories in Spring 2015 only.
Students who wish to continue staying in dormitories in Fall 2015 following the spring semester of 2015 must apply for their continued residency in dormitories as follows.
○ Eligibility:
Students who reside in dormitories until the end of the Spring 2015.• Exceptions are made for students who moved out of the dormitory during the semester, students who reside in the dormitory bldg. #19, Graduate Student Apartments, or Posville, and exchange students.
○ Application Period: Wed, June 17, 2015 – Tue, July 7, 2015
• Students who failed to apply for the continued use of dormitories must apply for housing in dormitories starting from August 28, 2015.
○ How to Apply: POVIS / Work Area / Housing & Service Management / Dormitories
• Students who wish to continue staying in dormitories in Fall 2015 must select ‘Continue to use’.
• Graduate students must also select the payment option of either ‘payment in a lump sum’ or ‘payment in installments’.
– Note
• Please apply for the continued use of dormitories regardless of your plan to change your dormitory room in Fall 2015.
• Please apply for the continued use of dormitories if you become a new graduate student and wish to continue staying in a dormitory in Fall 2015.
• If you reside in a dormitory in Spring 2015 and plan to move into the dormitory bldg. #19, Graduate Student Apartment, Posville, or an off-campus property, you must select the option of ‘Will not use’ on POVIS, visit Housing Services office, and complete the move-out procedures.
– Based on the applications, dorm room assignments for Fall 2015 will proceed accordingly.
