  • Structural/electronic phase transitions of surfaces and nanomaterials
  • Electronic/magnetic properties of surfaces & nanomaterials
  • Quantum Properties of low-dimensional nanosystems (nanodots, nanowires)
  • Fabrication of exotic properties of surface & nanomaterials

    Experimental methods : Angle/spin-resolved photoemission spectroscopy using synchrotron radiations (ARPES), high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS), low-energy-electron diffraction (LEED), grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIX) using mostly synchrotron hard x-ray radiation
