2. Purpose of Collection and Usage

Pohang University of Science and Technology collects and uses personal information solely for the following purposes and ensures that it is not used for any other purpose:

• User identification and authentication for service provision
• Certificate issuance
• Mailing services

3. Retention and Usage Period

• Collected personal information is retained for three (3) years to facilitate certificate issuance services.
• After the retention period, or upon the completion of its intended use, personal information will be securely and permanently destroyed.

4. Right to Refuse Consent

• Users have the right to refuse consent to the collection and use of their personal information.
• However, refusal of consent will restrict access to services such as mailing or certificate issuance.
