CHAPTER 17 – Faculty Assembly

Article 59 (Faculty Assembly)

The Faculty Assembly is organized to deliberate important issues related with academic affairs.

Article 60 (Composition)

The Faculty Assembly is composed of faculty members above the status of full-time instructor. Professors also holding positions in other organizations can attend the Faculty Assembly meetings, but are not allowed to vote.

Article 61 (Delegation of Authority)

(1) The Faculty Assembly can delegate authority to a Faculty Council operating under the control of the Faculty Assembly.
(2) The Composition and operation of the Faculty Council are stipulated separately.

Article 61 (Convocation)

The Faculty Assembly is composed of faculty members above the status of full-time instructor. Professors also holding positions in other organizations can attend the Faculty Assembly meetings, but are not allowed to vote.

Article 62 (Issues of Deliberation)

(1) The Faculty Assembly deliberates the following issues unless stipulated otherwise.
(i) Issues related with admission, completion, and graduation.
(ii) Issues related with student guidance, scholarship, and the student welfare system.
(iii) Issues of significance related to revision of University Regulations, opening and closure of departments or auxiliary laboratories, and other administrative issues.
