Faculty Position Announcement by Dept. of EE, POSTECH
The Department of Electrical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invites prospective applicants for tenure-track faculty positions in all fields of Electrical Engineering with emphasis on 1) Emerging Semiconductor Devices & Materials, 2) Intelligent Robot, and 3) Applied Waves and Propagation.
POSTECH, located in South Korea, is a highly prestigious university specializing in science and technology. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or in a related field, and have an exceptional record of research achievements or be able to demonstrate strong research potential. English speakers are also encouraged to apply, since POSTECH has a bilingual environment (Korean and English) for both teaching and research. For new faculty members, the university provides seed research funding and generous fringe benefits, including a free apartment lease.

Both the hard copy and the soft copy of the application packet must be received by April 29, 2016.
In addition, at least three recommendation letters should be mailed directly by the recommenders. The FSC does not request the referees to send their letters. Both of the following two conditions must be met for the letters:
ㆍSoft copies or hard copies must be received by May 2, 2016.
ㆍHard copies must be received by May 13, 2016.
